How do I update, add or remove sites from the list?
The great thing about SearchSites is that you don't need to worry about keeping the list of shareware sites up to date - we do it for you! If a site changes the location or setup of its search page, we will update this information on our online database.
The only thing you need to do is update your own copy of the software, which is very easy to do. Just click File, Check for an update and follow the onscreen instructions. This way, your list of shareware sites will always stay current!

Is this some kind of adware or spyware?
Definitely not! When you update the software, there are only three things that may be changed: the database; the splash screen; and the banner. The whole system is our own, and we do not use any kind of adware or "spyware" components.
When you run a search for your program, the only thing that happens is that your search information is passed on to the shareware sites. We make no record of your usage, search queries, or any other private data.
We could never pass on your private information to a third party - because we don't have any of your private information!
